Nebraska/Iowa Tornado Relief Fund

About

A series of severe tornadoes hit eastern Nebraska and western Iowa on April 26, 2024, resulting in extensive damage to several communities and at least five deaths. Homes, businesses, and infrastructure have been destroyed and relief efforts are currently underway. The selected nonprofit organizations have mobilized relief efforts across both states to provide food, water, shelter, and other necessary resources to help those impacted. Your donation to this Fund will help the following organizations provide immediate relief as well as support long-term recovery goals.

Community Foundation for Western Iowa

The Community Foundation for Western Iowa is a tax-exempt public charity, 501(c)(3), that serves thousands of people who share a common interest in improving the quality of life in southwest Iowa. Through the Community Foundation, individuals, families, businesses and organizations can create permanent charitable funds that help their communities meet the challenges of changing times. The foundation invests and administers these charitable funds. Like all community foundations across the United States, the Community Foundation for Western Iowa is overseen by a volunteer board of leading citizens and run by professionals with expertise in identifying the needs of their community.
